Welcome to our store! My name is Zhanyshbek Tashmatov, and I am a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. From the very first day I stepped on the mats over 10 years ago, I was captivated by No-Gi Jiu Jitsu. Unlike traditional gi training, no-gi felt more practical, dynamic, and spectacular. I always knew it was the future of the sport.

However, one thing that frustrated me was the lack of a formal belt promotion system in No-Gi. In Gi Jiu Jitsu, belts are a clear way to recognize progress and skill, but in No-Gi, this crucial element was missing. Moreover, when rolling with new partners, it’s difficult to gauge their level, making it hard to set the right goals and adjust your approach.

After years of training and now as the owner of my own academy, I decided to solve this problem. I’ve created a belt promotion system using No-Gi shorts, offering a simple but innovative way to bring the structure of belt promotions into No-Gi training. These shorts allow you to not only showcase your progression but also help your training partners understand your skill level at a glance.
